Shrub pruning - Liriope trimming in Taylors, SC

Liriope has many names including "lilyturf", "monkey grass", and "spider grass". Despite the names surrounding this plant, it is not technically not a grass. The plant actually belongs to the asparagus family.

During the winter this plant should be cut back to allow for the vibrant new growth to emerge. When these plants are not cut back, the new growth still finds a way out and the old dying leaves clump around the base of the plant looking untidy. For our regular lawn maintenance customers, we perform this trimming automatically during this time of the year to make sure properties are always in excellent condition. Even though liriope isn't technically a shrub, we charge for it under our shrub pruning service. These jobs were done in Taylors, SC for a couple of our regular customers. We cut the excess blades off of the plant and hauled away the clippings. We end these projects by thoroughly blowing off our work areas to ensure we are leaving the yards in excellent condition.
